Toronto police will be targeting speeders in the north-east end of the city starting Monday as part of a week-long traffic blitz.

The “Reduce Your Speed Campaign” in 41 Division ends on Sunday.

The campaign focuses particularly on school zones and areas with a large number of seniors in the area of Eglinton Avenue East and Birchmount Road.

Officers will also be targeting speeders in pedestrian crossovers, crosswalks, distracted driving, drivers who use their hand-held devices while driving, and red-light-related offences.
