Douglas Hugh Imeson was charged with impaired driving and driving with more than 80 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood

Peterborough County OPP made an arrest for impaired driving after investigating a collision on Eighth Line in Selwyn Township.

On Monday (Oct. 9), police were called to investigate the collision shortly before 7:30 p.m.

Police say they found one of the involved drivers had been drinking and placed him under arrest.

Douglas Hugh Imeson, 78, of Selwyn Township was arrested and charged with impaired driving and driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 9.
