No distracted driving or impaired driving charges were laid during the weekend, however excess speed was an issue.

Officers dished out 78 speeding tickets, charged five for lack of insurance, four people for not wearing a seatbelt, three for moving violations, two for stunt driving and one with a criminal driving offence. Nine other drivers received other traffic-related charges.
