Police responded to a Midland eatery Sunday after an employee reported a possible impaired driver at the drive-thru window.

Midland police officers attended and saw a male driver slouched down behind the wheel. The man was arrested and taken to the police station for a breathalyzer test.

A 61-year-old Tiny Township man has been charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content above 80 milligrams.

Police impounded his vehicle for a week and suspended his licence for 90 days.
