A male pedestrian was taken to a Toronto trauma centre after he was struck on Kennedy Road near Cournteypark Drive just before 11 p.m. Friday night.

There were three separate incidents on Peel roads in 24 hours on Friday and Saturday where pedestrians had been hit by a vehicle.

Peel police said a male was struck around 8 a.m. Saturday at Steeles Avenue and Chinguacousy Road in Brampton.

The victim was taken to a Toronto trauma centre. Police said he is in non-life-threatening condition and is expected to make a full recovery.

Police said the driver remained at the scene and there is no word on charges.

The roadway was closed for about 90 minutes.

There were also two collisions involving pedestrians in Mississauga on Friday.

According to police, a man was hit by a vehicle on Kennedy Road near Courtneypark Drive just before 11 p.m.

Police said the man was in serious condition when he was transported to a trauma centre. He is now stable and is expected to recover from his injuries.

Earlier that day, a male pedestrian sustained minor injuries when he was struck by a Mississauga transit bus at Burnhamthorpe Road and Duke of York Boulevard at 4:30 p.m.
