Collision involving 2 tractor-trailers closed 3 westbound lanes

A collision between two tractor-trailers that snarled traffic on Highway 417 earlier Wednesday afternoon has been cleared.

Ottawa Fire Services responded to the collision, which occurred in the westbound lanes near Bronson Avenue.

At one point the collision blocked three lanes of traffic.

There were no reported injuries, but one of the trucks was on its side, according to a tweet from the fire department.
