South Simcoe police cruiserTwo Bradford men are facing drug-related charges following a traffic stop.

South Simcoe police say a sergeant stopped a vehicle around 1 a.m. on April 3 because one of its headlights was out. Police say the officer followed the vehicle to a service station and while speaking to the two men in the vehicle he spotted a large amount of cash, illegal drugs and drug packaging material was spotted in plain view.

The men aged 22 and 23 were arrested and a search of the vehicle uncovered a quantity of a cash, cocaine, Oxycodone and marijuana.

The pair are facing six charges each under the controlled drugs and substances act, including possession for the purpose 
of trafficking. [They] will appear in Bradford court in May.
