Matthew Dean, 36 and Gregory Starr, 56, were charged with possession of marijuana and fentanyl
Two men have been charged with drug possession after a traffic stop in Havelock-Belmont and Methuen Township.
On Tuesday, Nov. 7, on Highway 7 near 4th Line at 10:50 a.m., Peterborough County OPP conducted a traffic stop. Subsequent investigation led to police seizing a quantity of drugs.
Matthew Dean, 36, of Lindsay, was charged with possession of marijuana and fentanyl, driving under suspension, failure to surrender permit for a motor vehicle, failure to properly wear a seatbelt and driving without validation on a licence plate.
Gregory Starr, 56, of no fixed address, was charged with possession of marijuana and fentanyl.
The two were released with a promise to appear on their court date of Nov. 30.
