Toronto police are looking for a person who was driving a U-Haul truck over the weekend after several hit-and-run collisions were reported.

Toronto police are looking for a person who was driving a U-Haul truck over the weekend after several hit-and-run collisions were reported.

The collisions took place in an area spanning from downtown to North York on Saturday evening, police said.

Officers said they’d received several 911 calls from the public about the driver’s operation of the vehicle.

One incident was reported at 90 Bloor St. E., when a witness said a person operating a U-Haul truck collided with another vehicle then left the scene, at approximately 9:45 p.m.

Police said six other collisions were reported between 9:30 p.m. and 10:40 p.m. Two crashes were reported in the area of Bloor and Bay Streets. Two were reported on the northbound Don Valley Parkway, one at Eglinton Avenue East and one near Lawrence Avenue East. Another driver reported being struck on southbound Don Mills Road near Sheppard Avenue East. The final collision was reported at Clarinda Drive and Ambrose Road, in the area of Sheppard and Leslie Street.
