HSR bus driver pulls a female passenger's hairHamilton Police have weighed in on a disturbance involving an incident posted on Facebook involving an HSR bus driver.

Police confirm they are investigating the incident that took place on July 4th on Concession St. and East Street between an HSR driver and passenger around 1:00 p.m.

Police spoke to the HSR driver who complained of being spat at by a female passenger.

The driver says she grabbed the female by the hair to hold her from getting away.

After several seconds the driver let go of the hair and the female left the area before police arrived.

At this time the female that allegedly spat on the driver has not been identified or filed a complaint with police regarding her hair being pulled.

Police say their investigation is continuing.

Hamilton City officials say they are also investigating the incident.
