West Nipissing traffic stop results in four charged

Four people were arrested and roughly $3000 worth of fentanyl was seized following a traffic stop by the OPP in Markstay-Warren around 8:30 PM April 30, on Highway 17.

Ontario Provincial Police North East Region Community Street Crime Unit and Warren detachment has charged Patrick Roy, 31, of West Nipissing, with:

• possession of a Schedule I substance – opioids,
• possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioids, and
• fail to comply with recognizance.

Three others, all from West Nippissing — Kristina Crockett, 21; Maxime Emond, 33; and Tyler Hicks, 22 — are charged with possession of a Schedule I substance – opioids. Crockett is also faced with a charge of fail to comply with undertaking.
