It was a busy weekend for Ontario Provincial Police across Windsor-Essex.

On Friday afternoon, officers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 3 at the intersection of Labelle St. in Windsor.

Police found one driver showing signs of impairment and, as a result, a 46-year-old LaSalle man is facing several charges.

On the same day, officers conducted a RIDE program in Kingsville. A 29-year-old Kingsville man was charged with impaired driving and a pair of 17-year-olds face charges for having liquor under the age of 19.

OPP in Essex were kept busy Saturday night as well attending a single vehicle crash on County Rd. 23 just after 11:30pm.

Officers found a pickup truck had entered a ditch after failing to stop at a stop sign.

A 44-year-old Windsor man is charged with impaired driving and operation of a motor vehicle while impaired.

Then on Sunday night at around 10pm, Leamington OPP stopped a car being driven erratically on Talbot St. W.

That traffic stop resulted in impaired driving-related charges being laid against a 26-year-old Leamington man.
