A driver is accused of driving nearly 140 kilometres an hour while talking on her cellphone.

According to Peterborough County OPP, on Monday (July 13) at 2:30 p.m. an officer with the Highway Safety Division clocked a vehicle driving at 139 km/h in a 100 km/h zone on Hwy. 115 near Moore Drive. When the officer approached the speeding vehicle, it became clear the driver was busy talking on her cellphone and did not notice the marked police cruiser behind her.
